Ryan McHugh – Chief Executive Officer
Ryan, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hi Power Electric, brings over 15 years of industry experience and a passion for innovation to the company. Since starting as a first-year electrical apprentice at the age of 18, he has built a career marked by dedication, hard work, and a commitment to excellence. Rising through the ranks to become a senior superintendent, Ryan led teams across multimillion-dollar projects and honed his skills in project management and leadership.
With a deep understanding of the electrical contracting landscape, Ryan founded Hi Power Electric four years ago. Under his visionary leadership, the company has achieved impressive milestones, including sustained 100% growth over three consecutive years and a successful expansion into Colorado’s multifamily and commercial construction sectors.
Ryan is known for his strategic approach to business and his ability to solve complex challenges. He’s dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation at Hi Power Electric, where every project reflects the company’s core values of integrity and customer-first service. His leadership has positioned Hi Power Electric as Colorado’s top choice for electrical contracting, with a reputation for quality, reliability, and forward-thinking solutions.
Ryan Fitzgerald – Chief Financial Officer
As the Chief Financial Officer at Hi Power Electric, Ryan brings extensive expertise in corporate finance and strategic leadership to the company. He oversees a broad range of functions, including finance, accounting, data analytics, corporate strategy, human resources, legal, marketing, treasury, risk management, and financial planning and analysis. Ryan’s comprehensive approach ensures that Hi Power Electric operates efficiently while supporting its ambitious growth objectives.
Before joining Hi Power Electric, Ryan held notable leadership roles across various industries. He served as the General Manager of On-Demand Services at Cinch Home Services, where he scaled the home services marketplace to over 30 markets within 18 months. His career also includes significant experience in corporate development and strategy, having led strategic initiatives for Angi, Johns Manville, and as a Director at Level 3 Communications.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. His financial acumen is pivotal in steering Hi Power Electric’s continued success and expanding its presence in the industry.
Jack Eachus – Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Jack Eachus leads Hi Power Electric’s multifamily project initiatives, ensuring operational excellence across all aspects of construction. With a degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University, Jack has a robust foundation in project management and construction operations. His career includes managing high-stakes electrical contracts for notable clients, such as FBI Quantico, The Australian Embassy, and multiple Department of Defense projects in remote locations, underscoring his expertise in delivering quality results under pressure.
Jack’s proactive approach and unwavering dedication to service have been instrumental in positioning Hi Power Electric as a trusted leader in the electrical contracting industry. His commitment helps drives the company’s continued success and reputation for reliability and innovation.
Taylor Bolton – Regional Manager
Taylor Bolton leads regional operations at Hi Power Electric, where he focuses on optimizing efficiency and ensuring exceptional service quality. A graduate of the Construction Industry Training Colorado (CITC), Taylor holds a journeyman license that reflects his solid foundation in electrical contracting. Prior to joining Hi Power Electric, he spent seven years at Tower Electric, where he advanced to the role of service technician and played a key role in high-profile projects like Meow Wolf.
Taylor’s skill in managing complex tasks under pressure has been instrumental in supporting Hi Power Electric’s growth and reinforcing its reputation for excellence within the industry.
Zach Kahre – General Manager, Single Family
As the General Manager for Single Family projects at Hi Power Electric, Zach Kahre brings over eight years of hands-on experience in project management and team leadership. He has a proven track record of successfully managing on-site operations and mentoring apprentices while maintaining rigorous safety standards. Zach’s career began in 2015 as an electrical apprentice with both commercial and independent contractors, giving him a strong foundation in the electrical trade.
Before joining Hi Power Electric, Zach served as Unit Foreman at Power Design Inc., where he led teams on complex projects from 2017 to 2020. Holding both Journeyman and Master licenses, Zach exemplifies a commitment to the profession that drives Hi Power Electric’s quality and reliability in single-family home projects.
