At Hi Power Electric, we know our people are the driving force behind everything we do. That’s why we’re proud to introduce Empower Academy, our official, state-registered apprenticeship program.
Earlier this year, we welcomed our first cohort of 14 apprentices into the program — a milestone moment for our company and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
More Than a Classroom
Empower Academy is designed to provide the best possible schooling and training for tomorrow’s Residential and Journeyman Wireman Electricians. But this isn’t your typical apprenticeship program.
One thing that sets Empower Academy apart is hands-on learning in the field. Our instructor, Scott Petitclerc, will be visiting apprentices on active job sites, providing one-on-one support and reinforcing classroom lessons with real-world application.
Meet the Instructor
Leading the program is Scott Petitclerc, Technical Training Instructor. Scott began his electrical career in 2015, following in the footsteps of his uncle and grandfather, both Master Electricians in Colorado. When he’s not teaching, you’ll likely find him skateboarding, listening to punk rock, or spending time with his family.
