Zach has been with Hi Power Electric for nearly three years and has played a key role in shaping the company’s growth and success.
A Journey with Hi Power Electric
Zach joined Hi Power Electric at the start of the company’s journey, becoming a full-time member of the team three years ago. As the General Manager and Regional Manager, Zach is responsible for overseeing multiple projects in the northern regions, ensuring they run smoothly from start to finish.
What Zach Enjoys Most About His Role
For Zach, the most rewarding part of his job is watching a project evolve from the ground up. “My favorite part is taking a chunk of land that is just empty lots and watching it transform into a vibrant neighborhood,” he shares. “Seeing it develop over a few months, from the streets being laid out to blocks being filled with houses, is truly exciting.” Zach’s role allows him to witness this transformation in various regions, giving him the opportunity to see multiple projects come to life. The fast-paced nature of these developments keeps him motivated, and it’s this sense of progress and achievement that Zach finds most fulfilling about working at Hi Power Electric.
What Sets Hi Power Electric Apart
When asked about what makes Hi Power Electric stand out, Zach highlighted the company’s customer service and its speed in execution. “I think what sets us apart is our customer service and the speed in which we execute our projects,” he explains. “We always find a way to say ‘yes’—no is just not an option for us. We go the extra mile to make sure our customers are satisfied.” This commitment to customer satisfaction has been a major driver of Hi Power Electric’s growth, with much of their new business coming through word-of-mouth referrals.
Looking Toward the Future
When reflecting on the future, Zach expressed his excitement about the company’s continued growth. “I’m proud of where we started and how far we’ve come,” he says. “It’s been incredible to see the evolution of Hi Power and how we continue to grow and tackle larger, more ambitious projects.”
For Zach, this growth is even more personal. “I’ve had the opportunity to watch Ryan McHugh, one of the owners, grow from being my foreman when I first entered the trade to becoming an owner of the company,” he shares. “For me, it’s not just about the company’s growth, but about watching someone I’ve known for so long reach that level of success. It feels like family.”
Outside of Work
Outside of work, Zach enjoys spending his time watching football. “Football is my favorite sport, and during football season, I’m watching almost every game on the weekends,” he says.
