A Legacy of Leadership in Electrical Contracting

Kurt’s career in the electrical industry started in 1982, when he worked as an apprentice during summers and school vacations. After graduating in 1984, he transitioned into office roles, gaining experience in drafting, purchasing, estimating, and project management. Over the years, he climbed the ranks to Chief Estimator, VP of Pre-Construction, EVP, and COO, overseeing large-scale commercial projects.

But he didn’t stop there—while working full-time, Kurt returned to school and earned his MBA in 2007 with honors. His commitment to continuous learning and leadership is exactly what makes him a perfect fit for Hi Power Electric.

Kurt’s decision to join Hi Power Electric was fueled by strong relationships and shared values. Having previously worked with Ryan and Jack at Power Design, he knew that Hi Power was the right place to bring his expertise and passion for building something great.

“I enjoyed working with them and want to finish my career building Hi Power a best-in-class commercial division,” he says.
